Tyga Vents Label Frustrations: “My Label Holding Me Hostage”

All is not well with Tyga. The Young Money rapper took to Twitter on Friday afternoon, venting frustrations towards label Cash Money/Young Money Records over the release status of his upcoming third major-label LP The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.

“Gold album been done. my label holding me hostage so i can’t release nothing,” says T-Raww. He continued, “might just leak it for my fans then let them make $ off it.”

The L.A.-native also gave thoughts on the music industry saying, “The music industry is a devils playground. Im a man of God.” Slated to arrive on November 18, there’s been no announcement The Gold Album has been pushed back.

Previously released singles included “Wait a Minute” with Justin Bieber, and “Hookah” featuring Young Thug. Currently, Tyga’s promoting the soon-to-be-released “40 Mill” co-produced by Kanye West, Mike Dean, and Jess Jackson.

UPDATE: Young Money President Mack Maine also took to Twitter, subliminally responding to Tyga’s comments, referring to T-Raww’s “Coconut Juice” single before signing to Lil’ Wayne. “Don’t forget about puttin limes in coconuts!!! What you “rep” didn’t make you or build you!!.”
